Once your router is back up and running you should have been allocated a new IP address, you can check to see if it has changed by visiting whatismyip. While youre waiting for your router to switch back on, you must clear your cookies from firefox, you can choose to only remove the megaupload ones if youd like by visiting Tools -> Options -> Privacy -> Remove Individual Cookies.
Next, you can simply switch off your router, wait ten to fifteen seconds and switch it back on.
Once this is installed and running, you go ahead and download some files from megaupload until the dreaded IP block is applied to further downloads. You can choose to avoid this step, but it does make bypassing download limits from the various filehosts alittle easier. This add-on is great for those of us who forget to download the file after the countdown timer is over, and it avoids a few extra clicks too. It will click the download link by itself once the timer completes, so you only need to accept the file for download. SkipScreen adds an auto clicker event to rapidshare, megaupload, mediafire and a few others so you wont need to wait for the timer before you can start the download. For this method you can download and install firefox, if you dont have it already after which hop on over to their add-ons page and install the SkipScreen add-on.
